One of the important parts of culture is its traditional clothing. Similar to other ethnic groups throughout Indonesia, Betawi also has a variety of traditional clothing, each of which are worn during certain occasions. Overall, they can be separated into three categories: daily wear, formal attires, and wedding garments.
Among these traditional clothing are the ‘Kebaya Kerancang’ and ‘Busana Sadaria’, which are included as two of the eight icons of Betawi. Below are some information about these clothing and their regular uses.
