Betawi Community has long been known for its varied customs and unique traditions, those of which are heavily influenced by religious values. Unfortunately, in the midst of current development, the preservation of these customs and traditions is undermined, driving many close to disappearance.
Nevertheless, there are several customs and traditions that remain quite well-known, especially those linked with the ideas of heritage, community, or environment.
