Laksa is a dish often served during Eid holiday. It has distinctive taste. Adding sambal godog to Laksa will enrich its taste. There is also a variant of laksa specially made for wedding celebrations, called Laksa Penganten, literally means the bride and groom laksa.
Ingredients:
- creamy coconut milk
- light coconut milk
- chicken breast marinated with lime
Seasoning:
- bruised lemongrass
- bay leaf
- lime leaves
- red onion
- garlic
- red chili
- coriander
- candlenut
- salt
- brown sugar
- turmeric, galangal
- shredded ginger
How to Make:
- Sautee seasoning finely with cooking oil until fragrant. Then, add light coconut milk, chicken and seasoning.
- Take and shred the chicken. Then, add creamy coconut milk.
- Serve soun (glass noodle) in a bowl and add sprouts and fried onions. Pour laksa into the bowl and serve it.
